Sitting at the temple I wondered, why do we come here? What is so special about it? While my mind pondered the answers, just like peeling an onion I found the answer one by one. We come here looking for peace and time for self, something we don’t find in all other places we go every single day. Ensuring we take bath and wear clean clothes before we enter silently symbolizes the purity of the place. We see our god, who by definitions is imaginary character well sculptured. But deep in our heart which believes so firmly, it’s the only person who listens to us, gives us what we want and answers all our questions silently. One person who lets us talk without interruptions and by the end of our talk leaves us content that, yes someone has heard me and will resolve all I wanted to be. A fear of being watched constantly ensured I did nothing wrong and did not hurt anyone with words or actions.
Taking a step back, thought about you for a minute. I realized you are one person, who quietly listens to me every single thing I say, without interrupting. Talking to you I feel the same soothing effect and warmth, doesn’t matter you solve my confusions or not. Your heart to me is not less pure than a temple as I am always conscious that, I enter it with a clean mind and intentions. With a relation beyond definitions and the bond so strong, I believe your heart is the temple I want to dwell in forever.
