Poetry 116

Two hands of a clock never go hand in hand,
Yet they make the precious time together.

Two rails on the track never meet no matter distance traveled,
Yet they make beautiful journey together.

Day and night come never together neither will they ever,
Yet life is incomplete without either.

A wave knows it will never touch the shore again,
Yet it doesn’t stop rushing with excitement.

The sky and sea adore each other knowing they can never be one,
Yet they stand together through sunlight and darkness.

The wax and thread know they will not last long,
Yet they burn together and brighten aura as much as they can.

The cloud and water in it know their togetherness is short lived,
Yet they don’t fail to make everyone happy before disappearing.

Maybe you and me are just like one of these,
Away and can never be one,
Yet the love will linger in heart beyond time, distances and circumstances.
