Poetry 111

If I was the Sun,
I would turn to the direction you blossom.

If I was the Moon,
I would smile at you every time you looked at sky.

If I was the wind,
I would tease, touch and tantalize you relentlessly.

If I was the joy,
I would reside on your lips permanently.

If I was the sorrow,
I would bury myself deep to never surface.

If I was the rain,
I would drizzle every time you step out.

If I was the tree,
I would be around forever to be embraced.

If I was the cloud,
I would lay myself between you and sun at every step.

If I was the shadow,
I would follow you even in the dark.

If I was the warmth,
I would engulf every time you felt cold.

If I was the youth,
I would overtake every time you felt old.

If I was the song,
I would play in your mind for every mood.

If I was the ocean’s waves,
I would echo in your ears forever.

If I was the candle,
I would burn till the last drop of wax.

If I was anything ever,
I would be everything you wanted ever, forever.
