Poetry 92

Looking at the rose I smiled,
For it taught me to blossom amongst thorn.

Looking at the dark clouds I smiled,
For they bring more happiness than white.

Looking at the melting candle I smiled,
For it taught to shine bright till the last drop of wax.

Looking at the setting sun I smiled,
For it silently said the night is gonna be beautiful though dark.

Looking at the dwindling leaf I smiled,
For it dwindled down only to be born new again.

Looking at the falling stream I smiled,
For it made the fall a visual treat to adore.

Looking at the retreating waves I smiled,
For it took steps back only to come forward strong.

Looking at you I smiled,
For you showed meaning and beauty of life in it.

  1. I love this not just the name but the fact that it made me smile. I smile all the time and in sins wats it seems as if you were writing about my smile.
